Thinking 'bout the times I know I should have taken photographs Something to rely on, sharper than a memory... ...And nothing breaks the heart much more than looking at old photographs When you can taste the moment, and worse still, if it's passed
They're gone now to the future, but you still can't deny them, like a song that's sung
Four of my favourites: Buildings by Antonio Gaudi Nightowls by Edward Hopper My wife naked by Salvador Dali Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy by David Hockney
I have wanted to visit the whitsundays for quite a few years now, and I was lucky enough when I first arrived in Australia to go there on a sailing boat for 3 days. It was more spectacular than I could have ever imagined, and we had THE most amazing weather!
I moved to Bondi about a month ago, and I'm really loving it here. Even if the locals say it's full of ex-pats, I think still its a great little place to hang out! Everyone keeps telling me how fabulous it 'used to be' here, so I thought I'd check out some old photos and see for myself.
2 months of sunshine....and a (very) little part of me is missing the snow. So when I wished for it before I came out here....my wish was most definately granted...be happy with what you wish for :-)
I've been inspired by some fabulous blogspots to give it a go myself, and what better way to start than a few vintage toys I owned or wanted when I was knee high to a grasshopper! They all make me smile....alot!
