Martha Graham

Happy Birthday to the late Martha Graham (and thanks to Google for reminding me!) I studied Martha Graham as part of my GSCE dance, and she is a truely inspiring dancer and Choreographer. For me, she is extra special, because not only is she one of THE best choreographers, but she used her clothing when dancing to help create the most wonderful, and impactful shapes on stage. I was lucky enough to see a show performed by the Martha Graham dance company whilst studying, and it was a really fantastic evening.

Creative-ness

Since i've been home (and not having a job) I've been getting creative again! YAY! I've been sketching and doodling, and even got my sewing machine out a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking of buying some embroiderey frames too and giving these little cuties a bash!

DIY (SOS?!?!)

Ive been day dreaming today about moving into a lovely home with my fantastic fella! I tend to get a little carried away with these thoughts, and think about all things homely! Heres a few pics that are inspiring me at the moment....I hope he likes them too!

Day dreaming

Sometimes its quite difficult being a grown up! There are so many decisions to make, and all of them seem so important...and thats just when your single! Then someone enters your life, and BAM! all of a sudden those decisions suddenly get even more important not least because you have someone else to consider. So these past few days have been a bit tough, more so for my very better half! Sometimes it sucks being a grown up, and how nice it would be to float away in a little bubble for a while, with nothing but love, happiness and a big glass of mojito!

Sunshine Flowers :-)

I had the nicest suprise the other day...some gorgeous flowers from my beautiful boyfriend!! Sent to cheer me up and brighten the day as it was raining outside. They made me so happy...and smile lots while I was working hard on my project.

NANTWICH...with my best buddy :-)

I had a super fabulous time out in Nantwich for the weekend with Jen and Nik. It was so lovely to see them, and we had a great catch up, some lovely food and a beautiful walk along the canal in the winter sun!!
